1) It's hard for me to choose Favorite SG's. It just seems so permanant, even though it is not at all. I still have one slot to fill...

2) I had a piercing scare last week. My navel piercing swelled up to grotesque proportions. Puss, blood, ouchie, the whole bit. I took a picture but I'll spare you that. I feared I would have a big ol' keloid above my navel for all eternity. Luckily, my mom helped me find a solution over the phone. She pointed out the fact that I have a nickel allergy (oh yeah, I remember that!) and that switching jewelry several months ago must have caused a reaction that finally built up to this. If I wanted to keep the piercing, I would have to remove the new barbell and put back in my old 14kt gold ring, keep it clean and use plenty of antibiotic ointment. So I did and now it's back to normal! My ring doesn't have the ball thing though, it fell out which caused me to take the ring out in the first place and stupidly think surgical steel would be a fine replacement. Oh well, it isn't falling out for now. I'll just have to buy a new gold barbell stat. White gold would be nice.
