I had a lovely time on Friday on the girls night out with morgannahh and Blacklamb. We went to the Hopetoun and saw morgannahh's friend's band, which was really good and full of eye candy.
I also saw an excellent band this evening. The Handsome Young Strangers, a Newtown 'bush band' who were lots of fun. Ironically enough considering their name the band is five incredibly, I think the polite word is homely, looking guys, one cute violin playing girl, and one good looking guy. At least I think he was good looking, perhaps it was just in comparison? They spent the evening joking about how they will have to change their name because the one good looking guy is leaving. I think The Strange Young Hamsters was the winning suggestion!
