I'm stuck in Life's Waiting Room at the moment. Rows of chairs in regimental lines, industrial grade nylon carpet making my hair stand up with static electricity, a faded print of one of Monet's landscapes on the wall, and dog-eared issues of the Women's Weekly from the dying days of the 20th century.

Waiting for the results of: job applications, uni courses, allergy tests, giving my email address to a boy who thought I was 'interesting', and so on...
