I am in Arizona with my parents tonight. It is weird to see them living somewhere that is not the home i have known them to live in for the past ten years. As much as I have seen them change recently, they have stayed the same. I sit blogging while they watch tv as if nothing has ever changed between them. I guess I am glad. I thought I would be annoyed that they are still the same after a year and a half of turmoil, but I am not. I am comforted. They will have been married thirty three years in June and I am glad that they can say they are still together. I am having a wonderful time with them. Tomorrow is my last full day with them before i pack up and head home to the frozen north again. I am ok with that. I am ok with most everything now. I feel like I can breathe after a long time underwater.
