Decided to post my pic today. I used one from Halloween last year - I may be from Alberta, but I'm *not* a cowboy. I really like this pic, I think I look pretty good, even if I do look a little psycho! 
My best friend who's dad killed himself a few weeks back called tonight, his grandmother on his mother's side passed away. I don't even know how to react anymore - I just hope he gets through this OK. On an up note, his girlfriends radiation therapy ends this week - she had Hodgkins' disease. While it's been a pretty crappy year for him all around, that's probably the best news he could have, and it makes me (relatively) pretty glad.
Today I officially have paid off half my car.
1 year. Not too shabby.
