Why the fuck did i even bother to go out to the poll last night? My time would have been better spent masturbating, or even just sitting at home on the couch; because...MY VOTE DID NOT COUNT!!
WAIT!! before anyone starts to lecture me on how my vote did count, let me explain:
I get to the poll, wait in line, and at the table when i try to check in i'm not able to: apparently i requested an early ballot in the mail. No, I didn't. So i get sent to the "special situation" table, where i have to fill out a few forms, and get a "provisional" ballot; which will in turn be sent to the Pima County Recorder's office to be verified and counted--they'll notify me no sooner than 10 calender days after the general election. I vote, slip the ballot in to the envelope, stick it where it needs to go, and it got sent to be counted so that my vote for president would be counted, and thus, matter.
I get word at 1 today that kerry--fucking douchebag--has already conceded to Bush--Turd Sandwich. the election has been decided before my vote can make any iota of a difference
So, in conclusion...
If my vote has to be verified after election night, and John Kerry concedes before my vote matters, then my vote no longer matters!
and while i did vote kerry, my situation would be the same had i voted bush; even if i had voted Missy as a write-in....my situation would be the same.
I'm not the only uncounted vote in america, and i hope i'm not the only one fucking pissed off at Kerry for conceding before every vote was counted.
