Yesterday was awful. A very good friend of mine called while I was at work and left me a message that her mom died in her sleep sometime during the night. She was 48. Everything seemed off all day.
Today was far better. I got a new job that is much more reliable than my current one, seeing as my boss hates me for personal reasons unknown to me. I went and had a celebratory drink, chatted with some friends and then went and saw Last House on the Left. The original was better, but I was entertained, especially by the very end. Teenage rape scenes are a bit disturbing though. I also put $4 in the poker machines, which was kind of fun, even if I did lose it...
Some things in life are still very confusing, but I'm getting it figured out. Getting used to living alone again. Liking my house, even if I do need to clean it tomorrow. Have a couple days to go out with friends at night. All in all, it's mostly good.
I'm going to be taking Sweat down and I'm debating whether Sunspots should go away as well, which is a bit of a bummer because I like it better than my "official" set. A lot better. Oh well.
