So, Li lost her job, in a really shady, underhanded way no less. We're chatting with our lawyer about it, but basically it seems they signed to a contract they never intended to honour, got her to bring them all this new money and business predicated on her being there, and then once the books were balanced, sacked her.

Doin' a little better today. Yay!
-- New hot band: Aqui.
--New comic I thought was going to be great (and still may be) but I've already figured out the setup from the first issue so I'm kind of disappointed: Seven Soldiers.
Oy. Li lost her job. Ugh.

Midweek update:
Sick again and hating life. Really depressed about it.
Li's pal Jackie is in from the Netherlands. She is really nice.
Trying to catch up on all this work. Oh, and still waiting for the Evil Empire to pay me. Fuckers.
Sorry this is such a blah update.

Weekend update here in Treckerland:
--Usual madness of soccer/cleaning/booty this weekend. Three guesses which one I prefer.
-- The T3 is back up and running in the house. Thank fucking g-d.
--Our pal Panda is slammed at work, poor dear. She's even more wobbly than usual!
---Methinks Patrick (cornink) is going to be getting a lot of business thrown his way.

So things turned out with the tats? When do we get pics?
ojaeflo:
Why yes, it is. Alex Ross is doing a bimonthly Justice League vs. Legion of Doom series later this year and this is the second wave of figures. The first wave was Superman, Flash, Bizarro, Cheetah and Sinestro. In the picture I posted, the only ones I am NOT getting are Black Manta and Batman. Those characters I have covered.

Happy Vday!
I love Hardboiled so much. It's my fav record store. I wish I could have stopped by but it was a really busy day yesterday. Let me know if you're going to work there again. Mark rules.

Midweek in Treckerland already! Man, it seems as if this week has flown by.
So, here's what's going on:
--In frsutrating synchronicity, I am feeling great...while Li is feeling pretty low. Sucks. She has been fighting a cold for a while and it just caught up with her. Been in bed for three days now.
--The house looks to FINALLY be closing. Thank f'ing g-d....

hey..j..how are you feeling?? you guys are going to be at the spoke this Saturday?? maybe i swing by if you guys are there...
9monty:
Yeah dude, tell her (the lovely Ms. Siv, that is) to drop me a line and I'll help whatever way I can.
I'll be writing a food review for Ray's place next Friday...that's not going to be way one sided or anything.
I've exchanged e-mails with Hannah a few times this week. She rocks, but I guess I don't need to tell you seeing as you introduced me to her. It's funny...I bring up her name around Hil and she makes fun of me saying I have some sort of schoolboy crush. Oh well.
I might be in Austin, TX mid-March, will be in Detroit April 4 and 5th (for the meetings I was in Chicago for last year at this time) and I'm still aiming for a trip to SF in early May. I'm going to try to squeeze Chi-town in there somewhere.
Peace bro

Lotsa stuff going on and lotsa work. Briefly:
-- I quit my job at ESPN/Disney. Suffice it to say that I had enough of dealing with my racist and quite probably mentally ill editor. Now, I've got sympathy for the mentally; I do not have truck for fucking assoles who call me a "kike" and were fired from their previous job for sending racist emails...

hiya! i don't think i need any tracings. i only needed one of li if the new tattoo was going around the older ones, and i'm pretty sure it's not. and i reckon i can wing your key. do you just want a smaller/simpler version of hers? let me know.
9monty:
Good for you getting away from that dickhead...and out of the evil empire. You and Li need to say FUCK EVERYTHING and go have a spa day or something like that. Give yourselves something you both deserve and escape reality if just for half a day.
