Hopefully today marks the end of what has been a winter-long season of work on the house. We've done so much to it and it looks great, but we're at the point where we are burnt out with it. I love having an old house I always wanted a brownstone but they are never-ending projects.

In five days (count 'em) we will be in MIAMI!...

Hey, no sweat about the bookshelves. Truth be told, I'm not in a rush to get rid of them until we have get our hands on the new ones for our place where all the stuff's gonna go. That'll be happening over the course of the next 5 weeks. I'll keep you posted.

Sigh...

--Saw the Chinese Stars/Rogers Sisters/Tyrades last night with Li, Panda and our pals Amy Starr and Claire Roney. Chinese Stars were WAY better than the last time I had seen them and seem to have settled comfortably back into what can only be describved as an 6FS vibe. Tyrades were fun as always, if not very original; Rogers Sisters were much better than their...

The Terry Pumming/Intermissions festival is slated to be held at the Zhou Bros.' latest performance space on 33rd and Ashland on April 28th.

At the festival, I have been invited to guest-conduct the 100-Human Orchestra (the largest assembalge of improvisational musicians ever attempted in a classical setting) to perform the first three movements of my piece "On Boxing."

I will be conducting five stages of...

It was really fucking good to meet you both, and THE PANDA, on Friday. I can't wait to hang out again. I don't think I can make it tonight, but maybe we can hang out some other night this week?

I ♥ you and The Wife!

btw. I know who Janette is, she workes down the street from A's loft, and just up the street from one of the places I work. We're both in the massage therapy field, so I know her from these circles too. In fact, her name just came up again today, here at the spa, just after you posted about her (WEIRD), apparently my employers know her too. You must be the one she was living with? Maybe? When A knew her?

Wow, "negative things from Exs"? I almost don't believe that.... as I've only lived here for 2 years, and didn't date anyone until I began dating A a year and a half ago. I can't imagin that anyone's Exs even know me.... but I do live in Roscoe Village, and it is a small neighborhood.... still, I'm not THAT much of a sceenster to be known in these parts. Maybe in NYC, but certainly not here...... ? Still, now you have me wonderin' surreal

Not much to say this morning, I fear. Had the flu all weekend and am still a bit a'queasy! Yuk. Panda and Li are working over at Broadway today, fourth day straight. They are slammed. I am doing laundry, cleaning and otherwise occupying my time! More later--

Let's just nail down a date, say Wednesday night, March 23rd. Wednesdays are usually good nights for me to be back at my place since I'm at my new place (Tara's) more often than not.

It's 3 bookshelves altogether, all roughly 5-6' tall, 3' wide. Do you have the vehicle to grab all three?
ojaeflo:
Just give me a date then, before or after your trip, and I will put that down in my calendar. I can make myself available just about any evening or any time on the weekends (except for the vacation dates of my own that I mentioned).

We are now homeowners. Like, all for real and stuff. With a mortgage and a title, and all the papers signed. We're out of LIMBO. I feel 20lbs lighter.
