Some thoughts in my sickness:

I miss some of the old-school SG's.
Such as:

Alice
Jetta
Abigail
DebraJean
Erin
Al
and
Siv

And wonder why some of the new-wave (or "third wave?") of SG's aren't as popular. Such as:

Hellah
October
Novella
Salome

Is SG just one big popularity contest run by 20-year olds? Or an advertising vehicle for tattooists and piercers?

Deep thoughts, huh?

My guess is it's a popularity contest. That's part of the reason I decided not to try and go pink after my SG application got accepted. I had enough of that crap in highschool. (Although, they are lovely "old" ladies as well as "new").
