It is fuckin' cash! Arm is still a little sore, but I guess the 5.5 hours will do that.

Looks great, covers the other one very well and so far everyone back here who has seen it has loved it. Cool shop and there was a pretty steady flow all day, so there was always something to look at.

As you are well aware, Hannah is just a fab person and made me feel comfortable the whole time, even though she was a little under the weather.

After two and a half days of geek meetings I'm sure I'll be somewhat out of sorts (though some of my boys from the Browns are already talking about hitting some spots tonight, after the opening reception at "Knuckles" in the hotel lobby).

Time to create some Chicago "stories."

The tracing went pretty low on my arm. For the time being I want to stay above the sleeve (new ownership and all) though if a vine snuck down, in the name of art, I could probably be happy.

After being in NYC a couple weeks ago, Philly over the weekend and now Chi-town, I'm feeling pretty big-city energized. One of those spring-is upon-us awakenings.

I feel like I'm stalking you, looking up and seeing all this correspondence.

What a crazy, yet wonderful, f-ing day.

The most traffic our site has ever had, so it had to be re-booted in order to re-route, and is still slow.

I'm on one phone talking to our web folks in NYC to handle that issue and get the site back up, and on the other phone with the studio in LA, setting up what I'm shooting for the NFL Network. Shot the press conference, then a private interview with Billick and now I'n still trying to get through to update some pics on the site. Yee-haw!

2nd round pick isn't bad at all, but it would have been nice if we didn't have to give anything at all. Stupid little print in the contracts.

Gotta bolt, but yes, I'm excited and I think we improved our chances at a title next year.

Alright...some necessary adjustments have been handled. Moved flight from Sunday to Saturday, and booked a room at the Inn at Lincoln Park for Thurs. and Friday evening.

A buddy of mine here, who used to work for 'da Bears, said that would probably be my best bet, in conjunction with where the shop is.

We'll have to figure things out for Wednesday night so we get the chance to hang for a little while.

That sucks you have to duck out so early. We'll definitely have to do something Wednesday night.

Any word from Hannah about room at her place? If she doesn't have room or you'd rather I not crash there I'll look into hotels (though not as nice as the one I'll be in on the team's bill).

Only 2:30 and I'm so ready to get out of here. Stupid Accademy Awards keeping me up all night.

I get to Chicago on March 8 (Monday) and will stay there Tuesday and Wednesday night. I was planning on staying at your place Thursday but I guess I need to find out if it's easier, or more convenient for everyone involved, to go to Hannah's shop first, or your place?

Should I try to find another place for the weekend if you're not going to be around? Don't want to be a nuissance.

Right now, yes, hockey does suck, though I love the sport no matter what the age or skill level. Damn purists. I'm excited about baseball getting started as well. Go Giants.

And the arm: no pain no gain? I'm thinking about how much fun it's going to be bandaged up in a club for a concert that Thursday night. All about the full experience.

Oh yeah: would either of you consider yourselves big Iggy Pop fans?

I don't really know anything more than you've read in the papers, but think it's kind of shady that it seems they have very little evidence and waited until he became a star in the public eye to pursue anything.

Someone trying to make a name for themselves? Who knows. Much like Ray, I've only ever known Jamal as a class guy who is a tremendous competitor and shoes his appreciation for the little things I do for him.

I'm biased, of course.

Congrats on the arm being finished and I hope last night helped to ease the mental onslaught of work.

Meeting with the new team president today. I must be getting big time around here . Bid time corporate lawyer who has done legal work for Jerry Jones and the Cowboys, helped Snyder secure the Redskins and now is Bisciotti's guy. Have met him already and he seems solid, but then again, it's honeymoon time right now.

You're not allowed days off during the season. You know that! I feel for you though and completely understand how nice it will be once you can sit back and relax, especially if you get a chance to head home.

Never been to the UK, only Austria. Tons 'o travel state-side, but I need to see more of the worl (maybe after I get a ring).
