In Bah-stahn, home of chowda and drivahs and the awful, awful Red Sox. Who suck.

Big sports weekend in Boston though. Baseball, Pats about to get rumbling on Thursday, Singh attempting to overthrow Tiger...what's happening there in the world of soccer?

BTW...tell Lisa I said congrats on the new gig.

Oy, so much soccer, so little time, and so many phantom paycheques...sigh. Off to NYC Sept 1.

9monty:
We play the Giants on the 2nd so I'll be up there on the 1st around 6:30.

Thins are going well. Just looking forward to hitting the regular season so the schedule evens out a little and we hit a 17 (hopefully 20) week routine.

Fanatsy football draft tonight with some friends. So...time for me to duck out and catch a nap.

Later bro.

Minor update:

Been sick so haven't had much time to do shit. Ah well. Whatcha gonna do?

The must haves this week: New Kool Keith "Deisel Truckers," Sluts "We Are All..." and the Death Comet Crew re-issue on troubleman. Fuckin' ripping.

Arsenal is going to win it all again this year. Watch this space.

Please visit Hannah Banana in England (Cheltenham) next weekend for their...

Just want to say: It's all about Abagail, who is clearly the girl of any fanboy's dreams.

Back from NYC. Man, was it hot.

Still in NYC. Just cannot seem to leave! Ah well. Gonna kick about today, perhaps stop by and see Tim and Dan then probably drink heavily.

Just got back from NYC where my new roomie (Li) and I had a nice visit with Tim Kern (you know him better as ymonster) and Dan Marshall at Last Rites. Li had never been to NYC and in her unforgiving job as my unpaid assistant this summer (she speaks Spanish and Polish and so was translating) her excitement was getting to visit the...

Not a real good week here. Lost a client because the magazine went under, sticking me with three already writ, unsold stories. Joy.

Ah hell, it could be worse. But I'm pissed about it.

I feel ya. I pack up and move to training camp on Wednesday. Eat, sleep, breathe football for 3.5 weeks. I'm such a sado-masochist.

Hope all is well...when will things chill out a little?

Ugh: Just spent 4 days in bed with the flu. No fun at all.

Playing catch up on soccer stuff is brutal -- Euro 2004 starts this weekend and I've had to do a lot of prep for that. If you see the games, you may well encounter some of my work, as I wrote a "bible" for some of the broadcasters on the teams...

What up, gangsta?

First round of passing camps are done and we have the first official mini-camp next week. Yee-haw!

Going to my first WNBA game tomorrow night. Mystics vs. someone at he MCI Center. I'll go to anything once.

How's the house?

Just wanted to say what's up and make sure Adu isn't keeping you too busy.

Tell Lisa I said hi.

Been so long since I wrote, and so much has happened.

In brief: I bought out my partner yesterday and am now the sole owner of my house. Yay! Writing that final cheque for $10K was pretty tough, but it is done and now I can move on.
Work continues to bludgeon me into small, pulpy pieces of goo. Frederick Adu deserves a fruit basket...

Wish your Mom all my best and keep me up to date.

We're living the same life right now, at least in terms of work. On top of regular day stuff, which has been nuts, I also covered a dinner for the Leslie Moore Foundation last MOnday, Ray Lewis' celebrity auction Thursday night and his celbrity bowling tourney Friday night, to end 2 and a half straight weeks of work. I was beat heading into the weekend.

Only wrote for the Friday night gig, but shot pics for all three and turned them around pretty quick.

Nice on the house. You'll have to take some pics as you re-decorate.

Later bro and tell everyone I said hi. I think I'm going to have Seth do up my other arm after I return from Fiji, probably to celebrate the end of training camp in early September.
