Hit a spending spree today. Dammit.
Bought a few CDs and a DVD...plus stuff on Ebay. Purchases are -
Yeah Yeah Yeahs - One listen, sounds good. Not a million miles from the Ravonettes. This is good.
Snow Patrol - One and a bit listens, sounds really, really generic. Not impressed yet, this may go on Ebay.
Dandy Warhols (The Black Album) - Only available on their website, mainly loads of old, and generally horribly recorded versions of existing songs, demos and stuff. Purchase justified by a handful of pretty good tracks I hadn't heard before.
Eddie Izzard (Sexie DVD) - Borrowed this at Christmas time and watched it drunk, wasn't sold. Blamed alcohol. Got a cheap copy on Ebay and realised it still isn't that good. Eddie writes 'must be funnier' on his hand too many times. But I do like 'Dog food shop?'.
Eddie Izzard (Circle DVD) - Another EBay thing, downloaded it ages ago, adore it, guaranteed good purchase.
The Holy Grail (DVD) - Can't go wrong here really, it's awesome.
So some of that may be getting sold
Saw girl in street this morning, said hello and got a big smile back again
Im getting more confident doing that, so maybe Ill just keep that up and then ask her for a drink.

yes, can't do without the trams... i'm probably going to go to sheffield, taking a gap year, just being lazy..
i have a few friends who live/work in leeds and my best mate's going to uni there next year, so we're gonna go stay with this girl i'm putting on a gig with - beginning of august i think. have you ever seen the band black wire? they're from round your way, great band.
