Have you read Hans Hoffman "Search for the Real". I read it a few years ago and it made it made perfect sense at the time. Keep in mind I had been in the studio for ummmm 10 hours and was stressed but he talks about magic in art and spirituality. The idea of creation and how for a split second it all makes sense and then leaves us again. It is beautiful. I love the quote.
I've only had a studio for almost a year and I'm hoping to ship for for graduate school in August so I'm trying to make the most of it. How are the rates for studio spaces in Canada. I would love to hear about your guys art scene as well.
I really enjoy your paintings. I love the energy in them. Since I've been working rather large recently I tend to be more of an "additive painter" lol, basically I end up working over areas after they dry. Do you work with oils or acrylics?
