The girl and I have decided that it is about time we moved to the West coast. We're thinking Sunshine Coast, perhaps near Gibson.

We're looking for a beautiful zen-hippie sanctuary where we can live and breathe and make art all day. Something in the trees and near water. Close to good organic food stores and a great little hippie cafe. Perhaps something like this: photo by tracy lee

Perhaps we will get there by this fall, sentient universe permitting. Maybe we'll see more of you beautiful Vancouver people then.

As for now, spring is unfolding in cool, rainy, Calgary. I'm going to appreciate this one and let the joy of it work its way into the paintings.
