My whole world came apart and is twisting to new form now. The pain of it is familiar, pain enough to stir me to action, pain enough to make me paint again.

I'm hard to live with, I know... I act gently but have the will of a predator and I bend to be kind and make peace but in the end I'm fierce again and dangerous to touch.

Tonight I paint a chrysalis, bursting ripe, and tonight I'll fight my way out if it, a bloody new creature. Fuck the weakness in my mind, fuck the pain in my body, I exist, I can move, and I'm done with playing.
