Goddamn holiday season. I hate being the only single one in my group of friends. Everytime there's a party or something to do (tonight is the perfect case in point), I get 'the call' half an hour ahead of time, "Yeah, um, I'm gonna go out with my girlfriend/boyfriend instead." Grumble grumble. I have no big need for 'hooking up' or anything like that on New Years. It would be nice, granted...but it's not necessary. The only reason I look foward to New Years is because it's a chance for my group of friends (which has been scattered and only happens to be in the same state around now) to get together and chill. So now, at 8:30pm, I have to try to track down last minute plans.


Oh, wait. I can't. My fucking new car died the other day, remember?

Don't mind me. This is all probably just due to the fact that it's the holiday season and I'm lonely. Next week I'll be back to my smart-ass self and ranting about stupid stuff I pulled at work or something.

Why not go to time square and throw things at stupid people? If it makes you feel any better I don't really wanna go out with my boyfriend tonight. I wanted to hang out with my old friends n get sloshed but he wants to go to some big fancy pants penthouse party. It'll be cool n all but I'd rather not shell out $50 to get hit on by a stupid lil mexican called Dallas.
