My niece thinks i'm too old to be hanging out with her and any of her friends. We like alot of the same things like music and movies and though they just live a few minutes from me i see them a few times out of the year. that is my fault for not getting out much but if they do not wanna hang they can just say so cause i hate it when someone lies about having to do something when they just do not feel like doing anything with ya, i respect it more when ya tell the truth. Funny thing is we do not seem so far apart in age these days, i'm 37 and she is almost 30. Hell i asked her if she wanted to get some dinner for her birthday and she said ok but never came by and when i asked what happened she said she was hanging with friends and forgot. All she had to say was that she was busy and can't do that at the moment. 
I'm just venting, i brought all this up to her before and she said she was sorry and then her mom steps in and tells me to leave her alone. I think hanging with uncle just is not cool, i'll deal with it.
