Having paid for the privilege of redirecting a missed parcel to another depot; then waiting two days to collect it; I arrived at the post office today to be told the post had not arrived and I should hang around for 40 minutes. I don't know if this is bitter irony or just a huge indictment of the lumbering behemoth that is our postal service! Rant over.
