I must admit that I have never really cared about Valentine's day. Through all of my (failed) relationships it always felt like a forced and commercial waste of time. I am not a romantic by, any stretch of the imagination, but I find forced romance entirely unromantic. If you have someone you love (and who loves you) do not wait for a specified time of year to tell them. Tell them every day. Let them know just how much they mean to you and how much poorer your life would be without them. Do something spontaneous and romantic when least expected. Fuck Valentine's day. Long live love!
