So tonight, I gave my old mobile to my sister. Before I handed it over to her, I checked to see if there were any stored messages.
It was full of mundane, boring messages from /her/. There wasn't a single meaningful thing in there, just idle chit chat from mid february. For some reason, I think that made it harder than if it was some of our deeper conversations.
I dunno, it just threw me a bit, maybe becasue of the unexpectedness of it all.
I guess it showed me that, although I don't miss her, I do miss having someone to talk total bollocks to., and just idly chitchat with. My self imposed hermitude has gone on too long, alas, and it's gonna be a struggle getting out of that state of mind.
I can think of nothing to say to resolve any of that. I'll add some more later, maybe.
