I am starting to plan my Sleeve tattoo for my right forearm. I need a bit of help though. Is anyone good at photoshopping and stuff like that, or can tell me roughly what size and shape i need the design to be on my computer, because i don't really know.
I havn't really though a lot about the actual drawing bit, but i know that down the front of it i want written
HOLD YOUR LIGHT
ELEVEN LEAD ME THROUGH EACH GENTLE
STEP BY STEP BY INCH
MY ONLY MEMORY
UNTIL ONE AND ONE ARE ONE
SO GLOW CHILD GLOW
I'M HEADING BACK HOME
Which the astute minds among you may recognise as the words to "jimmy" by tool.
I'm going to try and cram a lot of sacred geometry and kabbalistic imagery into it too, because you don't see many tattoos like that.
Also. I'm eventually going to get my whole back done up with a full size Tree of Life, with hebrew lettering and all that on it. Because it looks cool, and is cool.
Go read any books you can find on the kabbalah now, by the way, I'm not religious, but lots of it ties in very oddly with scientific principles like superstring/m theory, and other such delights. There's definitely something to it.

I've been impressed by what little about the kabbalah I've read, though it really hasn't motivated me to read more. Perhaps something to look into after the thesis is finished.
