Oh holy Jesus Christ in heaven, and all the saints please don't let it be true.
Someone has decided to make a live action film of Evangelion. Peter Bloody Jackson and WETA Bloody Workshops. ARGHHHH!
Why do they need to do this? The Anime is the most perfect thing ever created. EVER! and they want to make it into a film, which will no doubt be some sort of piss weak matrix-lite effort with CGI that looks as realistic as Jordan's tits!
And all the critics will just say it's horribly derivative, because they've never seen the anime. They'll never fit a story that barely fits into 10 hours of anime into a 2 or 3 hour film, So all the really good bits, the bits that are ultra deep and symbolic will get cut out, because the studios think that we are all fucking morons who couldn't understand the instructions for a toaster, let alone a multi layered, rich and life changing story.
I haven't been this furious for ages. I wan't blood for this one!
I hope to God that this comes to nothing and the project gets dumped. argggggggggggh!
