I won a limbo contest last night and had to slam a beer, haven't done that for awhile. My neighbors from ecuador had a party last night. They really now how to have fun, an awesome time. At first they were really standoffish when they moved in and I was thinking to myself that maybe they weren't interested in being friends. I crashed the party in our garage (we share a 2car) and to my surprize it was totally the opposite, I do not speak spanish very well and they cannot speak good english yet. It was interesting, everyone was speaking a different language around me the whole night but we were still communicating. The funnest party I've been to in years, musical chairs, limbo, salsa dancing. Every one was cool, and when I got my beergut under the lowest stick to win limbo no one could believe it. I'm sure I was the butt of a gringo joke at some point during the night from some of the fellas, there was about twenty people there, I was the only white guy. This dude made me rap accapella to the whole party, I had my swurve on so at that point it was like whatever goes. I was graced with a genuine ovation of clamour and uproar. What a crazy night, My spanish has expaned exponentially. We danced for a good three hours and I brought down some pharcyde and tribe, then they busted out the Mettalica and I was like wholly shit you guys are mettalica fans?!! This one hombre lifted up his shirt to reveal a large mettalica tattoo across his belly as Nothing else matters began to play. Everyone there knew the words and I did something I hadn't done for ten years, banged my head to Mettalica, thrashed about, and belted out hetfield lyrics, it was like a time warp except I was in ecuador. Next it was Cypress Hill, and a fusion of culture had emerged in our garage without me really knowing about it, I was just partying. It's always nice to break the ice with the neighbors.
