I am absolutely drunk to Hell, so please excuse me if this post ends up full of spelling and gramatical errors. I went out tonight, which was my first mistake. Someone told me something about a friend, something really bad, something I can't do anything about. I hadn't intended on drinking, as I was sort of the designated driver, but after I heard that news, I just didn't give a fuck. If we all crash and burn, it'll just save us from this lie we live that somehow things might work out OK in the end.
The funny thing is that I really am an optimistic person. I fervently believe that humanity is evolving towards a god-like state. I believe that technology will make us trans-human.
But in the meantime all that seems to happen is total suck. Forgive me if this posting lacks eloquence; I will try to post something better composed this weekend. Right now I am drunk and very pissed off that a good person I know might die.
