So.
it's now almost half midnight and i have to be awake in 5hours to get my ass on a train so i can start the first day of a month and half/two month long filming/editing/video cue running contract in Stratford-upon-Avon.
and while it may just be the time of night or the complete lack of time between now and when i have to be awake, i can almost wholeheartedly say i am not down for this new job.
yes i've worked there before and i know all the guys on the team and i get along well with them and enjoy their company - both in and out of work hours. but i think the problem is the fact i have to move up there for the duration of the contract, living out of a suitcase in temporary accommodation - thats the easy bit - but its the part where i am essentially limited to about 5 people's company for the whole time. sometimes closer to 3 people.
not matter how much you enjoy the company of those people, or how awesome they are, after a while of working and socialising with them you need to switch it up or take a break from it. and i think that that is going to be the real challenge/trial of my time up in SUA.
the fact i am going to be given approximately 100x more responsibilities while there barely factors in to it. wish me luck, all you beautiful people.
and so concludes my (relatively) late night ramblings.
as an apology of sorts, please enjoy this picture of took using a crappy digi camera and a pair of polarised sunglasses.
