Bachelor party weekend was very fun, but I was definitely ready to get home yesterday.
It couldn't have been a better homecoming either, Julie made me a great dinner, relaxed with me, and we had a great night. Everything is going great, and I'm glad that we're enjoying ourselves and learning so much about each other. I've not had the pleasure of dating someone so sweet and considerate. So that's a nice treat.
But, back at work and I'm optimistic about a new hire of ours. He is really taking some pressure off of me, and is going to be an assett--I have a great feeling about him. I hope he stays on, as we don't have the most money to spend on someone with his talent. But if he does what I think he can--we shouldn't have trouble affording him. And he'll write his own ticket.
