Employee Non-Compete Agreement
For good consideration and as an inducment for James Thomas Volvo Service to Employee Jake1030, the undersigned employeeagrees not to directly or indirectly compete with the business of the company and its successors and assigns during the period of employment and for a period of 1 year following termination of employment and notwithstanding the cause or reason for termination. The term "not compete" as used herein shall mean that the employee shall not own manage operate consult or to be an employee in a business substantually similarto or competitive with the present business of the company or such other business ativity in which the company may substantially engage during the term of employment. the employee acknowledges that the company shall ot may in reliance of this agreement provided the employee acess to trade secrets customer and other confidential data and good will. the employee agrees to retain said information as confidential and not to use said information on his or her own behalf or disclose the same to any third party. this agreement shall be binding upon and inure (?) to the benefit of the parties , their sucessoes asigns and personal represetitives. sighend this day of ________- _______________
what do you think of that bullshit. im not signing it and i think they got a pretty good idea i wasnt when i didnt friday. not only will it prevent me from talking aobut work at home or anyone i choose it also says i cant work on volvos anywhere no matter the circumstances during my employment and for a year after. fuck that bullshit. its all bullshit i feel i live surrounded with bullshit and my waders arent high enough. so soon shit is going to hit the fan and im confident in my eyes i will come out clean but maybe not to them but who cares what they think i got cya and so does he but he is also taking away my ability to work on volvos for a year after i leave which is crap because thats where im experenced and employers will hire the more experenced person. it sounds small bitch but to me its more of the point. im under paid, underworked in a under funded shop. our scanners are crap. no dso. no 5 gas analizer. not alignment rack manual tire machine. we need to take away from his race car and put more money into the shop.do the math 7 uniforms dont last 10 days. im not really too mad about it cuz i see where hes comming from but the one year part is what is pissing me off. i wont steal his costomers. so i guess at the minimum i want the 1 year part taken off or amended to say i wont use his customer list.
