Teh Weekend Update
Kat and Jay, friends that used to live here but now live in Seattle, spent the past three nights at my place. I cleaned and everything.
It was good to see them. We went to a mutual friend's house for dinner and to see her kids. I've been remiss at visiting her more often. I miss our lunchtime Boggle games. We then proceeded to a bar to meet some friends of K&J's and had a dirty voddy martini, a sidecar, and a shot of Berentzen Apfel Korn on the rocks. UMMMM apple liquor!
We then proceeded to Bernie's Bungalow. They really need to change the name to Bernie's Warehouse. It was a lot bigger and more packed than I've ever seen it. I guess every place is allowed to grow in my absence. The last time I was there they were renovating and it was an afternoon so the people there were low-key. Last night was very different. It was as if I had crashed a High School kegger, and the feeling was not just mine alone.
Off to view some Shakespeare and then there was talk of later happenings with my buddy at ze skin palace. Time will tell I suppose.
