downloaded a bunch of stuff as well as finding out i had a bunch of stuff still on here.
bought a DVD player at costco. projector there for about $800...almost bought it. will consider for next year.
next big purchase will be a windshield for the subaru so i can sell it for about $4500. will put $2000 towards credit card, ~$250-300 for a digital camera, and the other $2000 to save for Australia in April. will get windshield fixed this week.
started hanging pictures in apartment. it's been five years with bare walls, might as well make the place a little less cave-like. hung three b&w photos of San Francisco next to closet door, have three more to hang. hung a weird old drawing from some french book that i had in my bathroom. looks pretty cool there. bought some gesso to prepare the canvased boards my mom gave me. probably don't need to, but I want to experiment a bit. also bought some new light bulbs. the fluorescent kind that are supposed to last longer and use less electricity.
i checked on the bus schedule. looks like it might be worthwhile to ride it once or twice for the hell of it.

ahhh yes...alaskan's and subarus go together like...well i don't know what...but they do damn it!!!

I just make the image sise smaller.. around 5 inches and then save for the web. THe quality on mine is usually around 54 kb or less. I figure as long as people can see it and get the basic idea I am happy.
