Finally finished the storm drain design I've been fucking with for the past two weeks. I've been asking questions and trying to get as much of my bosses input as possible. He waited until I was ready to submit it before doing a good QC. He said it was to help me learn to be a better designer as I'm supposed to be king whose shit don't stink. Supposed to be. Glad that the other road projects are starting up again. Can get out of the pressure mill and do some cool stuff. Still trying to animate a drive-along on the new HEER, but will pursue it once the alignment is set.
Drawing class was a blast last night. We read the syllabus. Damn it was almost too much. Figured there would be more women than men and there were. I didn't think we'd be drawing nudes, but apparently by the end we may well be. Should be interesting.
Other than all that, things are good. I'm bummed that I'll have to back out of poker night, I completely forgot it would conflict with drawing class. Oh well, suppose I should be saving for something. Like maybe my future. Whatever that is.
