A friend from my High School years passed away last week. It's been hard to not think about what a great guy he was and to feel like shit for not keeping up with him. I wish I weren't so transient sometimes.

R.I.P., Hunter, happy skating brother Clayman.

I've had some weird dreams in the past few days. Dreams about Germany. I don't remember dreaming so much about staying in Germany. I used to when my parents and girlfriend were still there. But after they all left I didn't think much of it. Now I've been thinking more and more about the what ifs. I'm just trying to figure out where it all...

Onanist seeks Organic Oasis to hang out with. Oasis to enjoy films, reading books, impassioned discussion, eating interesting food, and being pampered. Onanist enjoys existential hedonism and it shows a lot, but I've begun an excellent exercise regime so give me a chance already.

Would be funny to put that into the paper. Wonder how many hits I'd get.

Boss will be out all next...

It is then agreed. I will be visiting my friends in Perth, Australia for the month of November or so. Will look into the possibility of moving there as well. Everything is up in the air right now anyway, a move to the far off island of Auz couldn't hurt. Except that I've been thinking I should move closer to my brother and parents, but...

I've started praying again. Last time I prayed was before my grandmother died. This time I'm praying for my father. I don't want him to die but it's become inevitable. I pray now that when he goes, he goes suddenly without lasting pain. He's afraid that he'll have a stroke and become a burden to my mother. The doctors have given him 4-5 months before...

Star-bellied Sneetches.

There is an ad playing in Anchorage right now for a tattoo/piercing parlor that emphasizes the dullery of not being tattooed/pierced. "Why doesn't anyone remember me?" is the catch...'Be recognized for your individuality' is the tagline. A world full of star-bellied sneetches.

Why can't you just be happy that you're unique? Why must you follow everyone else? Twenty years from now as your...

Comfortably Numb

Clearly I'm sinking. I thought I might be over the darkness, but alas I am not. I had it beat last year by working 16-18 hour days and sleeping at odd times. Usually at my computer. One time at a stop-light. I never noticed it was dark or it didn't matter that it was because I was always sleepy no matter what.

Things...

Going to Arizona in the morning. Will be visiting my parents. It's my dad's 68th birthday on Saturday. My mom asked that my siblings and I show up for his birthday. It's not so bad for my sister and brother going from California, but kind of shitter for me from Alaska. A long time spent in the aeroplane for so little face time. Probably doesn't...
