I'm adopting bunnies today! White rabbits like Alice in Wonderland, with pink eyes. I felt bad wanting to adopt something so absolutely beautiful so I told the rescue agency that I would also be willing to take the less cute, non-white, deaf and blind in one eye bunny. But it turns out that white bunnies are virtually unadoptable because people are scared of the pink eyes. Yet white bunnies are better pets because they have been bred to be extremely docile. What is so sad about these unadoptables is that they are albinos-as rare as human albinos-yet have been bred for rabbit meat and animal experimentation, hence the docility. The white is for cosmetics companies. Poor bunnies. Bred, abused and rejected as outcats...As I do the research it turns out that these bunnies are spayed/neutered, trained in litter boxes and have very defined personalities and interests including playing with baby rattles. I have always wanted a bunny! And they get along great with cats and dogs.

And, in case you too want a bunny, there are other rescue agencies that foster bunnies and then if things don't work out with your pet they will take the bunny back no questions asked.

Often peole get Easter bunnies and then release them in the wild or neglect them or turn them into the pound. Being on the low end of the food chain, often when they sense predators near them they will simply die of fright.

I seem to always adopt the deaf, blind, crippled and otherwise in need critters I meet. Most of them come to my ranch sick and are soon after spoiled. I've got quite a crew here now.

You ever go out dancing? I go out to brit pop, 80s night kinda nights - in Gville that is. You just seem like you might and that I've possibly seen you out before.

We've got some quality things in common and just wanted to say "hi". For one, you've got a big heart for animals like me. *hearts sqp*
