I remember when a 'fine collection of modern literature' used to mean a stash of mags down the side of the bed that you didn't want your mum to find.

Some of the pages were stuck together and crinkly and the centrefolds were torn out…fun times :-)

but since the internet it seems to mean a bookcase full of Steinbeck, McCarthy, and Louis de Bernières - worthy but not such fun :-/

Thnx - I like sketching but I'm a novice - I kind of like sketching girls too which is a bit naughty I guess :-P

I ask because whilst out for a post-Xmas meal with some of my partner's work colleagues I mentioned that and eminent UK bluesman had an extensive collection of porn that was destroyed when the basement of his house was burnt out - at the mention of the 'P' word everyone recoiled in horror as if I had slapped something unsavoury on the table in front of the waitresses :-( and there was an uncomfortable silence…
