so, thursday night i couldnt sleep at all. i kept having this pain in my abdomen, and no matter what i did i just couldnt get it to go away. ive had alot of different types of pain before, and this was just nothing like it. so i called my doctor and got an appointment before i had to go to work at one.

i show up at the drs office, he asks me a few questions, pokes around and then send mne to the ER at boulder community hospital. after a cat scan, a pelvic exam, an iv, and other horrible treatments, they decide it is in fact my appendix and i have to have surgery within the hour.

this was not how i expected my day to go.

so i had to have general anestesia, and they decided to do it lapriscopically ( i dont know how to spell some of these words so give me a break) beause they didnt want to ruin my tattoo. i thought that was a nice touch.

so they put a camera in thru a slice in my belly button, and "chop sticks" in thru two holes below, burned that appendix off, and pulled it out thru my belly button.

so here i am for the next week, no work, pretty much confined to the house, in a fair amount of pain, reading a book a day, sleeping too much, trying to conserve my pain pills, and being rather bored.

my boyfriend had sunday and monday off so he spent a few hours with me, but for the most part, ive got some time to kill.
when im feeling alright i can sit at my computer, so if anyone has anything interesting for me to do, you should let me know.
