Oh believe me I understand! I want with every ounce of my being to tear open the box and set it up.
But I had bought it for my new house, which I haven't moved into yet. There's nowhere to put it until I move in, as I am basically a squatter at the moment. Sometime later today or this week, I will settle in and then I get to set it up! I can't wait.

I made a cute skirt out of a long skirt that I use to wear up north. its short on one side and longer on the other. bottom layer is clean eddge and tore up some upper layers. hmm shower time now that I finally have clean clothes.

I used to work in special effects once upon a time, and I'd occasionally have to make some kinda prop or something with fire and metal and hammers...... quite an experience, and no small task....
I'm also fond of dead things, in fact, I often paint dead things. Well, I at least paint dead things as often as live things.....

My advice to you is to do what I did when I first moved into my first apartment. Make temporary furnishings!
We made a table out of cardboard boxes. Two upside down skinny ones, with a couple flattened ones on top. It stayed there a full year, and got used(and written on) constantly.
