The overdue update that I am too lazy and busy to do but I am now procrastinating so now you get it:
Here was the excitement of my trip
11/23-11/24 -- In a van with parents and younger brother. I spent the entire time crosstitching a present and WATCHING about a dozen DVDs on the laptop. Also bought the new Harry Potter on the way out of town. My friend that lived in Reading, PA showed up for 10 minutes to talk. This is the guy that begs me to visit and that is all he could bother seeing me the entire time. so next time I travel I will not include him in my visits especially since he ditched me on friday morning without notice.
11/25 Thursday-- My grandmother, cousin with his wife and 2 adorable kids (carol, vincent, and victor), Aunt Sandy and her husband jesse, and the 4 of us all ended up at the hotel and had thanksgiving in the resturant. I played hard with victor and vincent (2,4) This was my first time seeing victor. they are both great. vincent bounces more than Tigger. This was also the first time Carol and I interacted together in a humanly fashion. I was so amazed. I spent most of the day with Carol and the kids. Carol and I like coloring more than the kids did. That evening the rest of the groomsmen made it into town... Rocky and Jess. I only met them briefly in the past but I know a lot about them and vice versa. I can see why my brother stayed such good friends with them. I spent a lot of my time with them. too bad Rocky's wife had to edit her 100 page grad paper that weekend. I wanted to meet her.
11/26 Friday -- Shane the bastard ditched me that morning. but I got a chance to hang with family and the soon to be mother in law from hell. We decorated the trolley and then ended up at the reception hall and help out there. That night was the rehearsal and dinner. I actually got along with the other bridesmaids. And Andrea almost got me crying with the note she wrote about getting to be family with me and what she was gaining when she gave me this gorgeous white gold and tanzanite necklace that we were going to wear with the dresses. Then that night blackenedbylight got into town. YAY. I missed him. I didn't get to spend as much time with him before he left monday morning. Usually I see him once a year and we spend almost 2 weeks together joined by the hip.
11/27 saturday-- The big day. I went and did my hair with the girls. They really included me which was nice because before last night I knew none of them except my brothers fiancee and she came last year for christmas and we talk online a bunch. Her hair was gorgeous. Then back to her house to get ready and eat lunch. Then photography. I forgot how cold it was but grr we spent a lot of time outside and are dresses didn't cover that much on top. well then the trolley picked us up and to the church. My turn to get Andrea almost crying. we now all tell her that we made out in the deal cause we got her in the family+ now we tease that shawn doesn't rate anymore. Andrea and I now joke that we are sisters now. How can anyone not love this girl. so embarassing moment of the ceremony--at one part I had to go up two steps. well I stepped on the front of my dress then I tried to back off it but I stepped on more of it. I almost fell but I eventually got it. My feet killed me towards the end. I should have worn them to break them in but when do you get a chance to wear silver shoes? oh before the ceremony I had a seam by my chest start to burst so one of the girls had to sew me in. It was a good ceremony and not too long especially at one point I had to hold my bouqet and the 30 lb bridal bouqet. but that now put us after the ceremony where we had to be outside again for a period of time. At least it was one of the warmer of the cold days. we took the trolley to this garden area where it was gorgeous and took 1,001 pictures. The reception was fun, the food was good and we spent almost spent the entire night on the floor. I am the girl that says I refuse to dance. well I dance most of the night. but I also had champagne, whiskey sours, vodka sours, and some wine. though it was spread out throught the night. but I did lose the shoes. heck I feel at home barefoot. of course we had the timewarp. That what happens when the groom and and one of his groomsmen were actively involved in doing Rocky horror every year. I can't believe what dorks we are. oh I was giving a list of song requests from the bridal party to the DJ when I was forced on the floor for the tossing of the bouqet. I was so not looking foward to that and I was not expecting it to come straight to me. of course I caught it. my mom was happy. the family has been trying to marry me off. of course when shawn got the garter he was retarded (in a funny way). he pulled out boxers, a little whip, red handcuffs out of andi's dress before pulling off her garter with his teeth. all with the DJ wanting to her to whip shawn. poor andi she said it was the most embarassing 5 minutes of her life. but those boys like to put on a show. so of course putting the garter on me. the DJ was going on how it had to be higher than that point then gave me the whip saying that I had to whip them and people cheering him to go higher. when he stopped they made him put it higher. oh gee... this is what I want in front of my family. I have yet to live this one down. of course the DJ at one point made fun of the guys on their catching skills and had them shown up by vitctor and vincent. (this was shawn trying to get sean to catch so they could pull another stunt and sean didn't want to anymore). so my feet were sore. were kicked out of the hall, I had cuts in my ribcage from the corset. but I got changed so blackenedbylight, rocky, and jess hung out in rocky's room till they went to bed. then blackenedbylight and I ended up at the silo bar that was in the parking lot as the hotel. I had some goldschlager and yuengling then we went back and I crashed.
11/28 sunday-- Andrea's house for family stuff. nice chill afternoon. then movies and pizza that night in hotel.
11/29 monday--- blackened by light left
shawn joined my family for the tour of QVC since Andrea had to teach. shawn and I certainly geeked up the tour. I think we asked too many hard questions cause I think the guide was relieved to see us leave. hey I have been with tv production. I can't help but ask geeky Qs. That night we had Andrea's family join us for olive garden (we were sick of fast food)
tuesday we left. I missed my own bed. I got home wednesday night.
I know this wasn't exciting but I needed to write it down so I would remember

My son wanted to watch Harry Potter 3 tonight...he really regretted it later! I had to lay down with him to avoid all the "Dad, I'm scared!" calls...
