Well today has sucked. Hurricane is up to cat. 4 from the last I heard. I spent the day doing hurricane prep. I love my house on the cul de sac with big back yard, pool and everything but man oh man we have too much loose stuff and semi big stuff floating around. I had to rearrange the garage so we could fill it up with outdoor stuff. cleaned up the house a little bit to drag in pull in outside furniture. I JUST got out of the shower because I worked hard all day. Everyone worked all week so we were so not prepared. Keith got home and I had to explain that he cant go see yu gi oh tonight. He is so afraid of storms yet he obsessively watches for them. In 98 when we had a tornado hit my neighborhood we were all at the windows watching it well I was painting an 8x8' backdrop by flashlight so we could get it out of the house before graduation (we were able to do this cause my dad was not home otherwise we would have been really safe). We were just doing the last things outside when it started really raining. THey are predicting that it will be at us around 2 AM which is good bcause keith will be sleeping. Hopefully dads work won't want them in since he works midnights for CSX like he will be able to do much because his dept deals with all the areas that are shut down.
Grandma the last I heard is good. She is in Spring hill outside of the mandatory evac zones so she stayed. they took her in dialysis a day early so she will be set for monday and if they cant do it then, then they will ship them out to another area by bus. I was watching her neighborhood on the news at noon. I had the nicest talk with her in ages at about 1pm today.
My feet are so sore... well so is my back.
Keith is dealing with things semi well. other than driving us batty but he took things well so far after a long long long talk with me and then it was really fine after I told him we could do a bunch of scrapbook pages of his first hurricane. He has followed them for years and now he gets to experience one.
Yesterday we had a tornado over at US1. not too shabby. looks better than the one in pittsburgh and the one that hit my brother.
I think dinner is soon. we are having salmon fillets and we bought some shrimp for keith to have. at least we have a covered area outside to grill.
I have a new obsession....Tetrinet

my dad is at work.
and we are all squeezing in my moms room to sleep so we will be on the first floor.
it passed through my grandmas fine and some other ppl I know
I haven't heard from the orlando crew yet
its been a long day.
tomorrow I have to work till close.
hopefully my dad will come home in the morning when he is suppose to. they can keep everyone later if they want. but hopefully it wont happen.
After taking apart everything.... I dont want to put it back together.
I was playing tetrinet for the past few hours.
now it is time for sleep
If I drove and I didn't work. I would go run around and see if I could take some fun pictures.
today I got one of my dad in the pool sitting on the table. he was trying to sink it for the storm.... damn thing floats. but it was a cool picture

my mom was in the eye of the hurricane . she lives in punta gorda fl. so i hope its not going to be as bad as when it first hit land.
