I have the flu. I've decided not to drink for the whole of January and therefore haven't had a drop of alchohol in a week and a half. I haven't been out til all hours of the morning. I've been eating better and getting more exercise, and so I have the flu. Gotta love that. Great start to my healthier lifestyle.

It's been a weird couple weeks. On my birthday and in the week following I got a some sort of communique from every single girl (save one, the one who tried to kill me) that I've dated since high school, which kind of put things in an interesting perpective. I also ran into one, at a wedding, no less.

Been getting a lot of reading done lately, which I like. Just started The Painter of Battles by Arturo Perez-Reverte. Great book so far and an author that I would highly recommend. Also been searching for a copy of Hell's Angels by Hunter S. Thompson. I read it once before about 10 years ago, but I'd really like to reread it, I guess this is what I get for moving to a non-English-speaking country.
