SO! BIG NEWS!
Neko Planet Brisbane is coming up in April, and for those who aren't familiar with Neko events it's basically an anime/cosplay/video game/rave club night event which runs once or twice a year in every capital city of each state of Australia :3 There's awesome music acts, free sushi handed out by gorgeous catgirls throughout the night and special themed cocktails! I've worked as a catgirl there every year, and it never fails to be a COMPLETELY amazing night!!
I don't go out to events all that often, but I never miss one of these!
And this year, it's bringing in international DJ's!! Including one of my biggest and all time favourites and inspirations, DJ SISEN!!!
He's one of the most well known people in the cyber goth community, and I've always wanted to see him! He tours all over the world and is based in Japan
And in April, at Neko Planet Brisbane... I GET TO GOGO DANCE FOR HIM!!! EEEE!!!!! SO MUCH EXCITEMENT!!!! MANY AWESOME!!!! DYING OF AMAZINGNESS!!!
So I've been digging out my old cyber goth gear and putting together a new outfit just for this, as well as practising my dancing like a CRAZY MUUUTHER!
There'll be some videos, photos and whatnot taken on the night, so I'll be sure to link you to those after the event XD I'll also pop up some photos of my outfit once I get the last of the little parts in the mail :DD
For those on here who are in Australia, there's a show in every city (though I'll only be at the Brisbane one) and if it sounds like your cup of tea, make sure to buy your tickets early as they're likely to sell out!
It's not just Sisen, too! There's another huuuuge Japanese musician, Gothique Prince Ken, the adorable and lovely lady Lele (again, huge in Japan and her stuff is really taking off here now too!) and DJ S3rl playing as well! He's awesome, You may know him best for his "Pretty Rave Girl" song :)
There's always sooooo many amazing outfits and cosplayers there, adorable catgirls, catboys, lolitas, cyber goths, ravers, goths, anime fans, gamers - every walk of the alternative life, pretty much!
