What am I getting at? A culture that was founded in greed and violence will always exhibit those qualities. And it cracks me the fuck up when people are shocked by that. It's like teaching a dog how to fight, and then being outraged when it bites you. 🧐🤔

By the way, I feel the need to say... I am as big a patriot as you can find.  I served this country. But I love it for what it is.  That is much harder than loving an idealized fairy tale
