I am the type of person who cannot imagine walking/running on a treadmill like a fucking hamster, in a room full of sweaty strangers, when I could be out in nature. Today I took a hike (as I plan to do every nice day this summer, in as many state forests as I can) in Anchor Diamond Park, not far from where I am lucky enough to live. The story behind the feather picture: it fluttered down to the ground on the trail right in front of me, as I was wondering if I was lost. I took it as a sign that I was on the right path... and had a few shots of Wild Turkey at home to celebrate. ;-}> I am going to walk alone all summer. And I am fucking stoked about it.
