Let's start with Jagermeister, whom I appear to have become a photographer for. I went to attempt to become a jagerette, and instead ending up photographing for them three months ago. I've done it for three dirty dozen parties, and this last one was the Vancouver party so I got to meet all the wicked vancouver ladies! Hopefully I'll get to see them all again at Beats N Babes, with much less gear... I had umbrellas and stuff with me because i wanted to do really well, cute pin up pictures before hand...however, the club was WAY TO SMALL... so we said F it and held the flashes by hand
Alas...I'm in Vancouver again! I was here earlier in the month, which was a really fun trip. We went to Gabriola island, and I got to jump into the ocean and it was just so much fun! I haven't been in the ocean for ages, and ages, and ages...and kayaking was brillaint! I really loved it, I'd only ever river kayaked before so running through the gentle ocean ripples was wonderful. A little otter came by and visited, and i saw jelly fish! I love jelly fish, I think they're so uber cute! If i could, I'd have jelly fish in my fish tank
I also love star fish, and spent hours at low tide collection the ones caught up in the heat and putting them down in the tide pools so they didn't dry out... it's gross to come across the dried out ones, they're all squishy. We came across huge pools of them sometimes, and at the lowest tide of our stay we came across this massive gathering of them! It was amazing! PIctures of the island under the spoilers!
I've also been doing a ton of fun modeling stuff! There's a few shoots, and I'll hide them under the spoilers... some are ZOMBIES, some are pretty girl in dresses, and some are Casino girl with a 1930's hot rod! Reow!
First spoiler, ZOMBIES! This was a really fun shoot, we had three different themes. The first was Zombie Monroe, which we had a great time doing with my crazy tutu! Then we did zombie nurse, and that was a lot of fun! Then we had Zombie scarlet O-hara in a big field! And yes, those are real cockroaches...and infact, they happen to be my pet cockroaches. I have three! Alphias, Bob, and Loquitious.
Another one was a great, and fun shoot with two different photographers. We had a great time, and I got to wear my moms 37 year old vintage, cheese cloth dress she gave me. I rarely wear it, because it gets holes in it often because of how delicate the fabric is after all these years. The second outfit was BRIGHT! I love bright... The very last picture is a HAND HELD, 2 second exposure. I had to be absolutely still, and so did the photographer...which was hard. We did it a lot.
And the hot rod! This was supposed to be a two girl shoot, but the other girl couldn't made it... I felt really sad, because i spent a lot on that friggin hair to try and compete with how fucking gorgeous she was...and then she didn't even come. Alas... The last two are self portraits I did them to showcase my expensive hair, which held itself steady for four days because of the ridiculos ammount of hair spray. Yeah, that sounds gross...but we wanted to see how long it could go.
So yeah... right now I'm bumming around in Vancouver, looking for more shoots to do! Both modeling, and photography. I'll be posting some really cool new stuff I've been working on, I'm doing a series of images based around colors. So far I've got yellow, and green, and I'm really happy with them. It will continue on, and soon I will share!
