I've been a bit disturbed by something that happened here today, and I hope is not indicative of where SG is heading.

I think we can all agree that this is a prank. But how did this sneak by the Hopefuls moderators? Do they not pay attention? Do they not care? Or worse yet, do they think this somehow represents SG-dom? I suspect it's somewhere between the 1st and 2nd answers. Yet possibly even worse is the traction this monstrosity has gotten among members. Doesn't matter if she is attractive or not. I am not dissing the actual wmoan in the photos. But THIS DOES NOT REPRESENT SG. This site is supposed to celebrate the beauty in DIFFERENCE. You want the same old softcore or standard concepts of beauty, go to MET, or any other of those sites who exploit Eastern Bloc teenagers. Would a Marie or a Voltaire or an Oryx be accepted today? Don't get me wrong, some of my fav SG's are coventionally beautiful women with few body mods, but that doesn't mean that I don't recognize that this place is supposed to be the haven and place of appreciation for all of us geeks, dorks, freaks, and nerds. I know that this site is meant to make money, and I am truly happy that it has received SO MUCH attention, because it means that Missy and Sean and the models and everyone else can earn a living thereby keeping this community alive...and it IS a community...all of a sudden overrun with Bourbon Street frat gangs. So, I GUESS...powers that be, please remember your mission...it's about profits, but it's MAINLY about creating a welcoming warm community for the creeps to get naked and for creep appreciators to appreciate them. So let's tighten up on those standards, keep the saboteurs at bay, approve those lovely women who don't look like Playboy bunny, and keep this place FEELING like a tight knit community, even though it's a huge community. Members who want to see Penthouse and Playboy and Sasha Grey lookalikes and who don't give a damn about the community, go somewhere else. As someone else so elegantly put it, Redtube may be the place for you.
