Today has been a good day. regan and I both woke up early, kinda groggy like, and snuggled for a while. This was a lazy friday. Then i got up for good, did a little bit on the puter, got some leather work done, looked at the news, and just kinda woke up slow. very nice. i fixed us a pot of Black Velvet ( the shit as far as tea goes), and we just mellowed into the day.
I did have to go into town, but my appointment was canceled, and after I finished some odds and ends, we left. Stopped at the Bristol for lunch (god the service was slow) and came home.

i was really looking forward to tonight. new friends Dieter and Jesse were coming over (from Dayton) to hang out, eat dinner, and play music. We munched some Stouffers lasagna, salad, etc. and just had a grand ole time. It'sd nice playing music with folks who are INTERESTED in it. Good stuff. we recorded a little, and you know, it really wasn't half bad.

So now, after a botytle of wine on my own, friends are gone, Wilco and Billy Bragg on the itunes singin a little of the woody now it's off to bed with a buzz and some excellent music filling my dreams. Sleep well til tomorrow, then rise to a wonderful day friends. See you then.
