The electrician came today to hook up the wire off the circuit box for the new dishwasher we bought.
Yes. Domesticity rears it's moderatley homely head. In the past 2 weeks we've-
1. cut down a dead tree. It is partially cut up and lieing in the yard.
2. Nearly cut all the grass. the lawn mower refuses to run for more than 5 minutes at a time.
3. Discovered the rear foundation separating from the house.
4. Replaced the hot water heater
5. replaced all the kitchen sink plumbing
6. Replaced the washing machine
7. and yes had the dishwasher completely installed. yay!! First time since leaving my PARENTS house 12 years ago that I've had a dishwasher. Besides these old 2 hands o mine.
Listening to the lovely, spooky, haunting, psycho sounds of Kim Gordon wauling out "Drunken Butterfly". While waiting for the electrician I have been attempting to get some work done (ha!!) and playing "Goo" and "Dirty" over and over again. Luscious. i may even experience "daydream Nation" or "Sister" here shortly. On vinyl even.
Gonna go wash more dishes now. Just cuz I can.
