I'm home. Actually at work. But you know what I mean. I have been out of the loop so long, i hope I'm able to catch up on all the comments and journals that I missed!
Thanks to everybody who wished us well regarding the passing of Regans Step Grandma. The Visitation,Mass,interrment, and wake were all good. lots of family, etc. and she lived a very full long life. She also chose when to end it. May we all have that luxury.
The weekend in South Carolina was great- good companions, great event, well organized, etc. Battles were a little wimpy, but blame the Brits, who only bothered to field 66 guys to the Americans 5-600. Saw King's Mountain on the way home- awesome. Spent yesterday at home with the lights out- post-event funk. Still suffering from it a bit, and have headache to boot.

Lotsa people seem to like Turd Sandwiches. I'll never understand it. Also, watching American news coverage of the Canadian election (on the Daily Show and elsewhere) is the weirdest thing ever.

The TV's really promoting voting right now. We don't have cable, but I've got it on one of the free channels (I can barely see it and the sound is awful) and they're going through the history of the different groups who fought for the right to vote.
