In other news, I MIGHT have a gig for this holiday, either Boxing Day or New Years Eve, playin my old timey irish drinkin/rebel songs. First time playing out in 8 years, if it happens. This Irish restaurant/bar that we go to in laGrange, the Irish Rover, is having live music and the bar mgr asked me to play.
We went up there this past Sat, when they had some other guys playing, who I was acquainted with. Our table was the only one gettin rowdy, and they dug it, and we had this synchronicity going. It was way fun.

That scene in "glory" is probably the best scene in the film. Gets me choked up everytime I watch it.
Yes, work is pretty much going to be one big fat 2 week long day.
