Hapy Thanksgiving everyone!!
We are going to Indianapolis today, where a great deal of my extended family lives. We do the whole she-bang, everybody brings something, lots o turkey and potatoes and yams and beans and such. Then everyone sits around watching ball games or playing euchre. VERY middle America. Cozy n a kind of way.

I'm especially thrilled because we get to see some folks that we don't see very often. First, my cousin Erin just had a baby boy on Wed, named after my deceased grandfather. this will be our first time meeting him. And her brother, his wife, and their two kids will be here from Australia. Haven't seen himin like 7 years, never met her or the kids. I'm looking forward to that. AND two of my favorite cousins are here from New Hampshire and we don't see them often.

So today I am thankful for my family, the young ones, the ones we don't see often, and the old ones who won't be with us that long. I a blessed with family.

So here's today's task:

What are you doing for turkey day? Are you going anywhere? Wat are you eating for the day? And what do you think of most/most thankful for on a day like today?

shellymc:
Some of the books i read are true crime stories.
But actually a few of my favorites are not based on true stories at all.
Just from a few writers with a sick and twisted imagination biggrin
My love for poetry and haiku's came from a class i took in high school.
Sometimes all it takes is one good poem to open up a whole new world to you.
Needless to say, my bookshelves have a pretty diverse collection.
Funny enough "In cold blood" was one of the first true crime novels i ever read.
After seeing Capote, i think i want to read it again!

and no.....never applied to be an SG.
In all honesty, i have nothing at all against posing nude.
Just don't have the confidence i had about ten years ago.
