Well, I finally get to update about last weekend. And it's time for a new weekend!!
Went to the Market Fair, and actually it was everything I'd hoped for (well, almost, but we won't talk about that )
Got there Friday and set up, everything went well with my girl, no sniping at each other as we put up the tent or any of that. A bunch of us went to dineer at the Irish Rover, had some pints, laughed a lot, all that good stuff. Saturday, my buddy Ron showed up, eveyone was on form, the day went well, and we had a good time. lots of guitar and singing round the campfire that night (no Kumbaya, Irish drinking songs!!), and lots of drink flowing. Highlights- sitting and talking for hours with Ron, Andy, and Regan, standing by the fire in the old kitchen and singing and dancing, and laughing around the campfire.
Sunday was almost a repeat of Saturday. The rents came out, and we sat and shopped and battled and drilled and all that good stuff. loved shopping with Regan and hanging in the tent.
Oh, and even Howard was a pleasure to talk to. Pack up was a sad thing, and to tell you how slacking I've been all week, the car is still full of our gear. Oh well.
